Maryam Husain, PA-C, is a board-certified physician assistant with extensive experience in medical, surgical, and cosmetic dermatology. She is dedicated to providing individualized, high-quality care with a strong focus on skin cancer detection, chronic skin condition management, and patient education.

Upon graduation, Maryam worked for a dermatology practice in Brooklyn, New York, then moved to a senior physician assistant position in Walnut Creek, California. Maryam joined the medical staff of Affiliated Dermatologists and Dermatologic Surgeons in 2022 as a Dermatology Physician Assistant, specializing in general dermatology. She holds professional memberships in the American Academy of Physician Assistants (AAPA) and the Society of Dermatology Physician Assistants (SDPA).
Offering a warm and compassionate approach, Maryam prides herself on her excellent bedside manner. She is familiar with Middle Eastern and South Asian cultures, which helps her better understand and address the cultural and social needs of her patients.
In her free time, Maryam enjoys spending time with her family. She has four beautiful children and a Bengal cat.
